The Civic Action Committee advocates with elected officials and City or state department heads and staff to influence decisions for the good of Muirfield residents.
Recent activities have included:
Successfully keeping the new Muirfield area water tower out of the boundaries of Muirfield itself, and into a nearby commercial area.
Putting pressure on AEP that led to a total upgrade of the electricity delivery system to residents of Muirfield and area, costing AEP $14 million.
Stopping a plan to build a bridge over the Scioto that had the potential to dramatically increase traffic through Muirfield, and working with other homeowner associations in Dublin to convince Council to construct a bike path the entire length of Brand Rd.
The seventeen Muirfield residents who comprise the CAC meet one evening in alternate months to discuss and select issues of most benefit to Muirfield residents for their advocacy efforts.
