The MVCA hosts several adult events throughout the year including TGIF Parties and the Progressive Dinner. These events are open to all MVCA adult members and complement the activities hosted by our Empty Nesters group.
3rd Annual Black & Tan Event “Las Vegas Night”
Date: March 20, 2010 Place: Muirfield Village Golf Club Time: 7:00 pm - Midnight
This fun-filled charity event benefits the Welcome Warehouse. Tickets are $95 per person and include two drink tickets, appetizers, $25,000 in casino chips, entertainment and access to all auction items. Invitations will be mailed to all Muirfield residents. Additional tickets are available from Megan Harte at (614) 309-0154.
The Black & Tan “Las Vegas Night” offers opportunities for local businesses or individuals to sponsor casino tables or donate high-value items or services for the Live Auction. Other sponsorship options are also available. All sponsors will be recognized in signage and/or listings in the event program. Welcome Warehouse is a non-profit, faith-based organization that provides a warehouse of opportunities, goods and services to those of us in the Dublin school district who are temporarily in need. This year, the “Adopt a Family” program provided Christmas presents to more than 500 children, a 100% increase over 2008.
The MVCA Single’s Social Club had another fun event at Bravo in Dublin. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed meeting new friends! Membership is open to single adults, ages 25 to 100.
Wine and Cheese Mixer
Date: March 4, 2010 Time: 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Location: Oscar’s Restaurant in Dublin
This event is a wine and cheese mixer being hosted by fellow Muirfield resident Dan Goronzy, a financial advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors. Dan will give a short presentation entitled “Retirement Income Summit”. Dan can address any questions you may have regarding the 2010 Window of Opportunity for Roth IRA Conversions.
